Zoom Sings! is Postponed for TONIGHT.

Hello Everyone:

Sometimes we fight through to do things that are difficult, sometimes we just cannot.  Tonight is one of those nights.  Our Zoom Sings! scheduled for tonight will have to be postponed to a later date.  Perhaps its weather, poor sleeping or whatever, but my physical situation is such that just getting up and down stairs is achieved with great difficulty.  Because I’m on a cane and a walker, my body today has said, ‘Nope, that ain’t gonna happen’.  I heard it loudly and clearly today.

Please know that I postpone tonight feeling a bit guilty.  As I do, I know many of you love to sing through this music, be with each other, and connect to our music.  I’m sorry that won’t happen tonight.  But, I am holding out hope that perhaps on March 16th my new knee will allow me to get downstairs to my office to be with you and to run through the music for our next concert on June 5th.  So stay tuned for more info not just from me, but from our Board.

One month from tonight Wednesday, March 23rd, at St. Christopher’s, we begin anew to rehearse together, sing, enjoy music making AND to perform for our wonderful audience.  Remember we plan to sell tickets to this concert.  We need revenue.  We WILL have an orchestra, it WILL be wonderful, and before we all know it, the feelings of artistry will come flying back.

In the meantime, I’ll get a NEW KNEE, you’ll check your music a few times, and we’ll all get excited to be together again, IN PERSON!!!

Love you all,

M
