Our season

Buffalo Choral Arts Society performs a variety of music genres at venues throughout Western New York. Tickets to all of our 2019-20 events will be available online beginning in the fall 2019. Click here to purchase yours or call our Box Office at 716.775.SONG.

SEASON TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE! You can purchase tickets for all four BCAS 2019-20 concerts for $60. That's a savings of $10 off the individual ticket price. Purchase a BCAS Season Pass online now. Be sure to select the Christmas concert of your choice to purchase your pass.

BCAS begins its 54th season by welcoming the Amherst Central High School Concert Chorale under the direction of Justin Pomietlarz for a choral collaboration of antiphonal, joint and separate selections. BCAS conductor/music director Marcia A. Giambrone along with Justin Pomietlarz will share the podium in music by Staheli, Forrest, Stroope, Mallonee and others.

The Christmas season in song offers BCAS an opportunity to perform familiar carols in new, refreshing arrangements as well as familiar holiday songs that touch our hearts and feed our souls with nostalgic holiday memories. This set of concerts is highly anticipated and attended each year. The music of well-known composers and arrangers including works by John Rutter and Dan Forrest will be among several featured works. A must holiday event for families and friends who enjoy this seasonal music!

This highly anticipated choral event has taken three years to come to fruition. Dan Forrest, world famous composer/arranger and extremely sought-after clinician/musician, will be in residence with BCAS in Buffalo NY April 24 – 26, 2020. This residency, which will include rehearsals of Forrest’s music, will culminate in an uplifting concert with the chorus and friends. It will be accompanied by a chamber ensemble of strings and percussion.

The LONG AND WINDING ROAD of season 54 takes us to the majestic Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda for an afternoon of Broadway and Pop tunes. Typically a sold-out show, this extremely popular concert will include medleys of toe-tapping and hand-clapping performances ranging from the music of the Beatles to Broadway classics. Audiences who have attended BCAS ‘RIV’ concerts in the past have especially responded to hearing our members in solo roles along with the choral arrangements.  ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE and a Ticket!!!!
