Hello Everyone:
Maybe some work on Christmas music can help us slightly recover from that drubbing the Bills took yesterday. Good Grief!
A couple of things for you this morning: The Plan for Wednesday, and a reminder that we are at the MIDDLE SCHOOL. As you can see I’ve scheduled 3 times for Wexford. As we’ve experienced, it’s a bit of challenge for us given that we sometimes struggle with acappella, and correct notes in some significantly difficult lines and harmonies. Add to that a soloist and key changes. My plan is to layer the learning, and then put it all together the third time.
Dan’s files in the Member files will help you tremendously in your own part preparation. If you can’t get from note to note accurately for at least 90% of this piece, we will be in trouble. I have great faith that you will be able to do this, especially if you put some time in your prep. I think if we can get a genuine feel for the harmonic nuances the more work you do individually, and it will be a stunning number. I am counting on EACH of you to do your part, for which you All are very capable. Got to it folks.
In another blog I will give you the program order. The plan for this Wednesday (AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL), November 15th, is NOT in program order.
See you Wednesday AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL – enough reminders?????
