What a wonderful way to begin a new season. It was exemplary to be back at Sweet Home where we were in acoustics that accommodated our sound. Thanks so much to Sweet Home Schools for allowing us to come back. We feel privileged.
Bob sight-read everything put in front of him tonight. Wow! He was awesome!
When I came into the hallway upon entering the building, I was SO impressed by the tables set up, the volunteers working behind each layer of our administrivia our total volunteerism. What a total effort to get you all the music you needed, your seat, your sign in and even a wonderful snack to start the year. Thanks to so many folks. I am just a small cog in a very great wheel of great dedication to the choral art.
Welcome to our new members, regards to all of our returning members. I can’t help but feel this is going to be a very special year for BCAS.
Let the music making continue its high quality and its enthusiastic renderings. The audience will be the recipient of quality, classy, good quality choral music at a very reasonable price of $20/00. Today, that is a huge bargain.
And now, next week, week #2 will be a real dig in rehearsal night. I will send a plan for that rehearsal probably tomorrow. Don’t forget to work on your music, come early, get ready to rehearse earnestly, faithfully, and musically. See you next week.
