Hello Everyone:
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.
- WAR LETTERS: I am going to be working on my ‘John Murphy’ script for our upcoming concert. So if you have any and all letter, stuff from which I can glean some interesting stories, I really need them ASAP.
- SOLOS: Solo sign up will be by email to me mgiambrone2@verizon.net in the next few days. The solo possibilities are as follows: The soprano opening recitative in There Shall A Star Come Out of Jacob, the soprano solo for How Still He Rests, and the solo in Somewhere in your Silent Night. There is a possibility that that particular solo could be 2 people.
- DRESS REHEARSAL: Tuesday night’s Dress Rehearsal will be at St. Joseph University Church, Main Street near Winspear. We will use all our time touching up musical issues and doing logistical stuff. Our harmonica player will be joining us.
- CREW: If you haven’t let Andrea know you can help with the crew, please do that at aorensthe@gmail.com.
- REMAINING SCHEDULE UNTIL DECEMBER: 10/23 TUESDAY St. Joseph University Church; 10/28 CONCERT same place- Sunday, report time is 1:00 PM for run-through with John Murphy our narrator; 10/30 TUESDAY SHHS); 11/7 (SHHS), 11/14 (SHHS); 11/20 TUESDAY (SHHS); 11/28 Dress Rehearsal at St. Mary’s Church in Swormville; 11/30 CONCERT same place- Friday, report time is 6:15; 12/2 CONCERT (St. Joseph’s Cathedral) – Sunday, report time is 1:15; 12/4 TUESDAY – Dress Rehearsal at SSPP in Hamburg; 12/8 SATURDAY, CONCERT; report time is 6:15.
There is a lot on each of your plates. This is the busiest fall I can remember. And do you know what???? You are so up to it. I have every faith that we will continue to be the artistic organization that we have shown in the past. Besides the stuff above, here are a couple things for EACH of you to do this weekend and before Tuesday’s rehearsal.
- TICKETS: ticket selling for 10/28 concert (SELL, SELL, SELL);
- PATRON LETTERS; getting your patron letters addressed with some personal notes (I write a letter to my folks, all 60 of them and I the BMHOF logo in it just to make sure were were worthy of their attendance.
