Elaine Knecht is hanging up the voice box with us. She fell, and broke either one or two ankles, and probably would not be singing June 3rd. She and her husband are taking a European trip in the fall, so she thought this was a good time to ‘call it fine!!!!’ Elaine, once a WNED-FM voice, began with us several years ago, took off some time and came back – and wonderfully, brought her daughter Sarah with her. But now alas!, she’s ending her BCAS career.
And Karen Kerswell, fell and broke a hip, which has been operated on. Results are good. She is a care-giver for her husband Verdun who also sang with us. This is a very trying time for the Kerswells.
