Hello Everyone:
Well, you dug in and made my rehearsal plan pan out. Do you realize that 10 days ago we were in a 24 hr. swoon over our AMERICANA! Concert? And now 2 rehearsals in, some 4 hours and some change of rehearsing, we have come to about 80-85% of putting our ANGELS SING! concert together. Lots to do yet. But you have worked magnificently to mark scores, and work on individual parts. This is the time to pay special gratitude to Linda Lang and Doug for providing such wonderful learning tools. Thanks for partaking in such a great means of putting together our pieces for our audiences.
Speaking of audiences, its not to early to start lining up patrons for both St. Amelia’s and the Cathedral on December 2nd and 4th. It is a MONTH away. That’s all. It has been said a thousand times that this BCAS Concert puts everyone in the Christmas Spirit. It’s up to us, and probably us alone to ‘put fannies in the seats’. Do your thing oh fine Angel Singers.
Nancy and I said a little prayer as we left SH tonight for all of us on the road tonight. The fog was really soupy. But as we hit the Williamsville Water Tower, it all cleared up. For those of us who drive to the southtowns we were lucky. Northtowners, we pray you got home alright.
To our Zoomers, thanks for zooming in. I’d love to know if these Zoom rehearsals are helpful to you when you can’t be at a rehearsal in person. Tom Naber works very hard to set this up. Thanks Tom. BTW: He needs 5 more folks to help us. AND THE SABRES BEAT PITTSBURG TONIGHT. They are 7-3 in their first 10 games. Buffalo sports teams are on the way to redemption. Help Tom out by volunteering.
OK. Thanks for a GREAT rehearsal tonight. Go Bills! OUR new Board meets this weekend, and the weather is beautiful. Sleep well my friends.
