Hello Everyone:
Believe it or not, I have been working on this solo list since 10:15 Wednesday evening. Some things just need to be done slowly and with patience. Of the total of 68 solo auditions ( 48 actual soloists), 27 (15 women and 12 men) have been chosen for a solo. Oh, how I wish I could have used every one who auditioned. I found the two nights of auditions made me very proud to be your conductor. There was such wonderful camaraderie amongst all of you. You make me so proud. But…not everyone was awarded a solo. I think you all know that. I did my best. Thanks to each of you who prepared a solo. That’s the spirit of BCAS. That’s what I will miss the most! – Love you, M
