Hello Everyone:
Here is the rehearsal plan for this Wednesday night, January 24th. Please be prompt. We will be dismissing at 9:20 so that I can hear 2 prospective members audition for us. AND, the plan is very jammed packed. If you can get some work in on this music, we would all be appreciative. There is a lot of music to cover. Also, you’ll be handing in SING UNTO GOD, as we will not be singing it for the March concerts.
ABSENCES: I ask you to be very forthcoming in getting to us ASAP if you are NOT going to be able to be with us, certainly understanding that illness could be an issue. Email the following people who need to know as soon as you know you cannot come: mgiambrone2@verizon.net; storylady1970@hotmail.com (for the next 2 weeks); and emjasen@buffalo.edu. Please don’t wait until Wednesday afternoon, or most certainly until after 4:00PM. We all want to be as comfortable as possible with all the nuances of this music as we rehearse this pure choral literature to performance readiness and quality. Your attendance at each and every rehearsal will be most helpful. We are all equal parts of a glorious whole!!!, no one more important than another.
POSSIBLE SOLO HEARINGS: Those hearings will be held at 6:35, BEFORE REHEARSAL NEXT WEEK, JANUARY 31ST. if you wish to try one of the following possible solos, please email me of your interest (mgiambrone2@verizon.net) by next TUESDAY. Here is the list: Pieta, at end of piece; Every Time I Feel The Spirit; and perhaps Take Me To The Water. Once I hear you , I’ll try you with the full group AFTER I choose a couple for each.
