AGAIN!!!! We have to cancel tonight’s rehearsal. Kevin and I have been in touch with each other and the only sane, right decision is to cancel for tonight. The snow may not accumulate but the winds are going to increase, making driving very dicey. Our membership comes from all over WNY, from Silver Creek, Fredonia, and Springville, and Batavia, and from Medina, Lockport and Lewiston, not to mention West Seneca and Orchard Park…..and don’t forget about Derby. Many of us have had weather warnings sent to our phones. I’m getting them now. This is the right thing to do! Just think we could have all gone away for 3 weeks to some sun-filled place and relaxed…………..AND rehearsed.
I am really and sincerely disappointed I won’t be able to see you and sing with you tonight……….especially since I won’t be able to tell you I LOVE YOU, on the eve of St. Valentine’s Day. Bless you all for everything you and I are going to do in these next few weeks and months on behalf of BCAS.
About that. One of the things I did in my perch/office at Subway today was to chart out our rehearsals for April and June performances and I want you to know that with some really good work, both musically, and for all infrastructure needs, we will be in very good shape. Now if March will cooperate. I know some of you are disappointed. But please know……………. It’s about safety folks! Please alert all who don’t BLOG or have an email address, or need to know about these types of decisions.
When you finally get home tonight, cuddle with loved ones, and be SAFE!!
