Great rehearsal last night, even though I didn’t win the 50-50 and we all sweat our brains out!
Here is something I put together for my church, St. John Vianney, for our November 5th concert. I thought you might want to copy some of this and get it to your churches, or other organizations you belong to. Remember, the GOAL we’re is 400 tickets sold without including our retired and active military who will be admitted for free. Thanks for helping us get the word out. To actually get 400 to purchase tickets, tons of prospective audience members not only have to know about our concert, but will want to attend what will be a most dynamic concert afternoon. My guess is that the congregation of SJV will bring in @100 listeners. That’s leaves 300 for us to sell – which comes to 3 tickets apiece. Another goal that I would like us to meet is to have EVERY member sell at least 1 ticket for this concert. I think we can do this – hands down. BCAS has always proven to be positive in our ‘getting the word out’. Its the follow through. Below is a little blurb that you may wish to use. If you haven’t yet decided that you want to come and join us, please imagine yourself relaxing by the lake with nary a cloud in the sky, in 80 sky basked degrees, with many of your BCAS singers and their friends and family, old and new. A SALUTE TO THE ARMED FORCES
A SALUTE TO THE ARMED FORCES , a choral concert honoring all men and women who are veterans, and active military will be presented by the 115 voice BUFFALO CHORAL ARTS SOCIETY (BCAS) at St. John Vianney Church, 2950 Southwestern Blvd, Orchard Park, NY 14127 on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 at 4:00 pm. Note that there is NO Bills game that day. This American and Patriotic program will be conducted by Marcia A. Giambrone and MC’d by John Murphy, famous radio voice of the Buffalo Bills.
