Please get a beverage and READ CAREFULLY!

Hello Everyone:

Tonight the Board and I finalized all of our ‘administrivia’ regarding our FRIENDS AND FAMILY CHRISTMAS  Concert or as much as we could do in a Zoom Call. But we need some help from the membership and the LOAs.   There are some loose ends. AND HERE THEY ARE:

CREW FOR RISER, ETC. SETUP TAKEDOWN, probably THE most important of all BCAS tasks prior to any concert:

Alec, our brand new Operations Manager, and I are requesting that any of you who can still volunteer to help with this project, we ask you to please, contact me (mgiambrone2@verizon.net) or Alec (alect.michalski@gmail.com) ASAP about your availability for December 1st, dress rehearsal night and December 5th, concert day. How about your spouses.? Our crew is so very important.  In order to get you all on risers, the crew sets, up, takes down, and generally helps do whatever we need before concerts and dress rehearsals.  The more we have , the less work each has to do.  So far we have only half the crew needed.  Husbands, friends, etc. are requested to help us out.  Alec and I also will email all our LOAs and see if there are those who can help.  It is a critical request and need for this concert. Basically we need 8 more people.  Remember our chorus is much less than normal, so our normal crew is not available.  Please if you know of someone who can help, contact us.

SOLOISTS:  for Lo, How A Rose/The Rose are Kim Harrison and Amy Hartman.  They will share this beautiful solo.  Thanks to each of you wonderful ladies.  i am so encouraged by your auditions.  Perhaps this was not the best for solo situation for you, and there will be more.  Stay tuned.

PROGRAM ORDER for the concert and these last two rehearsals (dress) to December 5th, as follows:  O Come, O Come; Star Carol; In the Bleak; Still; Do You Hear What I Hear?; Hark! The Herald; In His Mother’s Arms; Bob plays a Christmas Carol Fantasia and (Free Will Offering); Lo, How A Rose/The Rose; The First Noel; Silent Night; Jingle Bells; For Unto Us A Child is Born! Please put your music in order NOW for Tuesday night’s rehearsal and for the Dress on December 1st.

CONCERT DRESS:  There are still 15, count them, 15 women who have NOT had concert dress approved.  Just to let you know, that’s 1/3 of the SA members.  Please, Please, take care of this on Tuesday, our next rehearsal. Gail and her wonderful crew will be available before rehearsal to get you all settled on this account.

FROM OUR MUSIC COLLECTION COMMITTEE:  Please bring ALL music to Tuesday night’s rehearsal.  Rick will have a couple bins available and he will tell you what we are collecting at this time. Some pieces from the original packets will be collected.  Some will stay for March and RIV. After the concert on December 5th we will collect the Christmas music except for GLORIA.

Did you get through a beverage yet?

See all of you, TUESDAY, at St. Christopher’s where rehearsal will be from 7:00 – 9:00.  Stay tuned to a new seating/standing chart.

The Bills Suck!!!  The Sabres got robbed……04 seconds to overtime. What a yuck sports dayD!

Love you all!
