Hello Everyone:
This is getting OLD isn’t it? This NO SINGING TOGETHER STUFF (fill in the blank!). The Board and I are meeting on this Thursday night to discuss CDC and NYS requirements for our 501C BCAS as we start to think and plan to restart our community singing. And won’t that be wonderful.
After I asked you to do this a few months ago, I have heard from many of you, I’d say 53% of the membership that you will be returning and 1 member who will not be. Our wonderful Katie Kruszynski has moved to Georgia to be with her LOVE. Now I need to hear from the other 47% of you. AND, we all need to have EVERYONE respond to our survey, initiated by Tom Naber on May 13th. It is almost 1 month later and in order for us to make appropriate decisions regarding the near future return of BCAS, we ask you to please, please let us know what you’re thinking in terms of you personally returning. It will be VERY difficult to know what our membership will be, AND what that membership balance will be if you don’t respond, Thanks from all of us having to make this important decision. We need your input very much.
Other than all of that, I am so eager to get to see you all again. When that happens my first rehearsal plan will open with a 30 minute hug session. If you have not been vaccinated, please, please think about doing that too. As you’ve read about so many returning activities with large groups, vaccination is a requirement. More on that after our Board’ meeting on Thursday night.
