New Rehearsal Plan, New Program Order as of November 17th

Hello Everyone:

A much better Bills Monday than last week.

I have made a musical decision that I think will help all of us musically and performance wised.  It took so much time last rehearsal to get GLORIA to make small performance steps.  We don’t have that time, AND, the way Dan Forrest wrote it, it really requires an orchestra of at least strings and organ to really sound as intended.  I had pictured it for this Christmas not just because of text but because we could utilize the Cathedral organ, and the baby grand together, Bob and Doug doing their thing.  Folks, that ain’t gonna happen!  It was at the most wishful thinking.  And, it brings our pieces down to 12 in performance, plenty for us musically, and physically.  I hope you can accept this decision. It’s been mulling around my  head for a while now and last Wednesday’s rehearsal, although you rocked, brought that thought to the forefront.

Here is this Wednesday’s Rehearsal Plan, newly revised, and IN A REVISED CONCERT ORDER OF PIECES.  Thanks for being diligent in putting your MARKED scores in order for Wednesday please.
