Good Morning All:
I still, after 17 years, get excited about ‘finishing’ a school year. My best to all in the educational fields as you embark on a well-deserved rest.
As many of you are aware, my Mom passed away on May 30th. Because of my niece’s wedding in Italy, where all of those folks were already, my nephew Jim and I, along with close friends and family, buried Mom on the next day so that I could fly to that wedding on Thursday, June 1st. And also as you might expect, I’ve been in a fog ever since. A special thank you to all who sent cards and messages to me and my family. They mean so much.
Here is the update regarding Mom’s Celebration Mass. My sister and I have selected Saturday, July 22nd, at 11:00 AM at St. John Vianney Church (where we have performed, and where we will perform in November). I have been so blessed to have had BCAS singers at the funeral masses for my Dad and my brother over the last few years. And again, I now ask if you might be available to sing for my Mom on that Saturday. The literature will be pieces we’ve performed, but their choices are dependent on who might be available. Of course, I’m referring to tenors and basses!.
So………………would you please be kind enough to consider singing. I will need to know as soon as possible, let’s say in the next few days, what the choral forces might include, so that I can get music selected and ready, etc. I ask that you email me at mgiambrone2@verizon.net to tell me YES or NO. If YES, I also need to know if you’d like to join me and my family for a luncheon afterwards.

Did you get a gibberish blog from me yesterday with all sorts of goofy stuff. Well……………I successfully, at least after that session, learned how to send a blog to you! This one is the real deal. Good grief………..it was a very funny scene in the training as I went to hit SEND, and Shandra and Bryan our web designer couldn’t get the word NO out fast enough. Sorry!!!!!
Our website is terrific. Such hard work by Shandra and her crew . Mega thanks. Stay tuned for more and more info regarding AUDITIONS (sometime in August), and exciting info on our upcoming season. Please recruit singers for us.
I’m having lunch with Tim Socha tomorrow and he and I will be planning for Christmas 2017 with the ROYALTON RINGERS.
