I remind you all to please number your measures, especially the NOV. 5th music for tomorrow night. We’ve had two very good rehearsals so far, and so I can expect that tomorrow night will be nothing else. We will really bare down on the Bernstein especially. I’m so encouraged by your responsiveness, your responsible attendance and your willingness to be so disciplined in our rehearsals. EVERY minute of rehearsal counts. Thank you for your attentiveness and your musicality.
We spend so much time in a focused, disciplined manner every Wednesday night. So often, all we really want to do is just have a great time with friends, meet new people, and do our ‘family’ thing. Well……………………….
………………..THE PICNIC THIS SATURDAY IS FOR YOU. I especially am reaching out to our new members. Gail and her crew do an absolutely wonderful job of hosting this lovely occasion. Where else can you go in WNY on a sun-kissed Saturday, with the beautiful lake as your backdrop, than to the Manner House on the lake in Derby for a mere $12 and providing a gustatorial offering – that’s means bringing an appetizer, salad, or dessert to pass. Join your musical family, meet friends, new and old, sit and relax, play games, indulge in beating those Mitton boys at .05 and .10 cent poker. Don’t forget a chair since we will be able to be outside enjoying yet another gorgeous September day in Buffalo. Gail will have more to tell you at rehearsal, so bring your $$ so she can have an inkling how much to she has to purchase. I cannot endorse this social event more. What a great way to meet new people, to relax with friends, to eat what turns out to be THE most amazing assortment of wonderful food. $12, ????, are you kidding me???? BCAS boasts the feeling of being a family. Well, this picnic is the PERFECT way to experience this. If you’ve never been to this September event, and especially if you’re a new(ish) member, you owe it to yourself to make your way to the lake paradise in Derby on Saturday (3-??). Bring friends, and family.
