Hello Everyone:
First off, it was a really wonderfully lovely concert last night. It was so good to see members on leave there, and to speak with many audience members. Bravo! everyone! We move on to the Cathedral. We should have more room so you’re not so squished on just 4 sets of risers. We’ll be able to use more sets, and thus we’ll have more room. Call time tomorrow is promptly 1:15. We have several spots to check on. Plus a processional to figure out. We know the personnel order for the processional, Bob will be on the Cathedral organ so we’ll have to see if we can keep it all together. It will be somewhat of a challenge.
Speaking of challenges……some bad news on our Personnel front. The ROCK of BCAS, Gail Leary, fell this AM and broke her hip. She was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital and after x-rays will undergo surgery tomorrow morning. We’re not sure if the surgery will be a repair or a replacement. Of course, Gail was doing BCAS business at the Library with her flight of angel helpers when it happened. Hopefully we’ll know more before the concert tomorrow and we’ll share whatever we know with all of you. Yuck! UGH! and all those other thoughts. Prayers for Gail’s successful surgery and a very swift return to BCAS.
