My Spirit Sang All ‘Night’

Hello everyone:

What a wonderful performance last night.  You were totally on top of your game.  I am so proud of everyone.  In addition to our crew, all singers, and John, I want to thank Rick and his crew of ‘house’ handlers.  Our audiences get to see those folks first.  And what a wonderful first impression all get on this first-class operation.  Bravo! and Thanks! Rick please pass this on to all your helpers.

So now we switch to a totally different genre of music for our June concert.  We certainly have enough rehearsals to make the RIV experience a wonderful one for all who attend.  I already, just today, had RIV requests on my phone for 11 tickets from 3 separate folks who called to say they LOVED last night and couldn’t wait until June for our ‘pop’ extravaganza.

NOTE:  Remember next year we do 2 Christmas (down from 3) and 2 Riv (1 up from the singular performance).  This is also noteworthy.  How did you feel today after last night? Physically? Vocally?  Emotionally? I  felt great, but my body was a bit tired.  There is NO question I could have done this performance again this afternoon, but it is important to remember that we do 2 sets of back to backs next season.  I’m going to the gym starting tomorrow!!

Here is the line up for rehearsal this coming Wednesday.  We will welcome back Bree Rodriquez and Mark Ebersole, both of whom will need music, and a seating card.  Let’s keep us all mixed up (Sharon).  I like how we blend that way.  We will discuss solos opportunities and their auditions and how we’ll handle them after I speak with John.
