…………..with each other and our music. Great job last night! Thanks for trucking into our territory for rehearsal last night, all you northtowners. The weather held out. And to think we did so much nitty-gritty stuff WITHOUT MY HANDLERS. Wow!!! I’m proud.
Next week we’re at the MIDDLE SCHOOL. That’s WEDNESDAY, February 27th. Please have ALL April markings in your scores. I need to tidy up places, and can’t do that without you knowing what I’m asking for before the fact. We have NO time to do 5X repeating of musical stuff. For those of you who have been absent, and say ‘I’ll get the markings”, this means you will have them all in your scores, plus anything I may have changed or added. That means each of you should have a BUDDY to who you can go to find out what you missed. Thanks for doing the due diligence for all of our sake.
Markings for RIV will be available soon. I gave my scores to Dan Fronckowiak and he will send them to Shandra who will put them on the website. The Mary Poppins markings are involved just because its a 68 page medley. And, as you experienced last night, lots of memorization work needs to be done for Part III the last 2 songs at least. They fly by!!!!
