Hello Everyone:
We grieve for the senseless loss of life yesterday at a Tops Market on Jefferson Avenue. The expression ‘evil lurks in the hearts of men’ is so true. I, for one, cannot put my head around such carnage at the hands of one demented individual from out of our area who came here particularly because that zip code was exactly what he was looking for to kill and injure as many humans as possible who did not look like him. Today in church services all over our area, we grieved, prayed, and tried to heal and understand what makes this sickness so rampant in our society today. And music ensembles such as ours helps that healing process. I wish we had a rehearsal today, but we shall wait until Wednesday to gather and rehearse for an upcoming performance which will speak to our better selves.
Here is the schedule for Wednesday. 7:00 – 9:00 we will rehearse our pieces; 9:00 auditions for solos will take place for COME TO ME; IS HE WORTHY, and ALWAY SOMETHING SINGS.

9:05 Solo Auditions: Please have your solos prepared as if it were a performance. I will hear each piece, starting with those who will only be trying for 1 solo, then 2, then all 3.
Please take care of yourselves everybody. Pray for changed hearts to make us kinder and more accepting of each other and our differences. Stay healthy. And let’s have an even better rehearsal on Wednesday than we did last week. Looking forward to Wednesday,
M
