Hello Everyone:
Please, please make every effort to be at St. Mary’s Church in Swormville (Transit Road just past N. French Road), tomorrow evening promptly for riser placement at 7:00PM. The logistical situation at St. Mary’s is such that we will be literally ‘all over the place’. So your promptness is essential. Thanks.
Report time for Friday’s concert is 6:00 PM. Report time for Sunday at Cathedral is 1:00. Concert on Sunday is at 3 PM. TUESDAY at SSPeter and Paul in Hamburg is a dress rehearsal, 7:00 – 9:30. Report time for Saturday, December 9th at SSPP is 6:00 PM. Warmup will be in the gym. Note to crew: We will need some chairs and a piano in gym for warm-ups.
Here is the Order for BCAS music in folders for all rehearsals and performances: Hark!; Wexford; Noel Carol; ‘Twas the Night; Do you Hear?; Go Tell It; O Little Town; Noe! Noe!; What is this Lovely Fragrance? and For Unto us a Child is Born.
Rehearsal may go a tad longer tomorrow night just for the simple reason that we will need to work with Royalton Ringers, they will need to do their numbers, and we need to place flute and soprano sax logistically. Also, we have to figure out a processional if there is to be one.
Remember do NOT where concert dress, but DO wear the shoes you will wear on Friday, Sunday and next Saturday. Also, ladies, please avoid hairdos that are updos, or anything that will be different on the risers from tomorrow night. And DO remember to AVOID ALL FRAGRANCES, both men and women please!
The ‘live’ broadcast on WBBZ-TV yesterday morning was fraught with technical issues. I taped a segment that will air tomorrow, Wednesday at 10 am. The ladies were very upbeat about BCAS. Tape it and give it a viewing. Tell all your friends etc. especially those who don’t have a ticket yet.
OK all, see you tomorrow, WEDNESDAY night at St. Mary’s Church in Swormville. I found from the southtowns that if you go mainline thruway to the 990, get off at N. French Rd. exit, turn RIGHT and go up to Transit, Rt. 78, turn LEFT and St. Mary’s is just a bit down on the right. The church is tucked in behind a school, etc. See you there!
