Hello Everyone:
First: Anyone wishing to audition for quartet in Domine, tenor solo in spiritual, and he soprano obligato parts at end of spiritual should come early tomorrow night to sing
Second: We are down to 3 weeks before the concert. Ticket sales by members is crucial to make this concert an exceptional evening for all of us. Please do anything and everything to help us out by reaching out to folks to get us a crowd. Its so easy to have ‘someone else do it’. ‘They can sell them. I just sing’. Try to change that thought and sell at least 4 tickets. That would ensure an audience of 400. Exactly what we’re looking for.
Third: Wednesday’s plan: Put your music in this order for tomorrow night: Worthy, I’m Gonna Sing, My Spirit Sang All Day, Pieta, In Remembrance, The Music of Living, Requiem, I Will Sing With the Spirit, Domine, Let Their Celestial Concert, Sing a Mighty Song, There’s No Business Like Show Business, and Anything Goes Medley
Fourth: I’m looking for 4 folks who would be willing to write up a script and introduce various pieces in our program. Our ‘radio voice’ Kevin is unable to sing this concert, so he is not available.
And finally: It’s going to be a Wednesday with temps over freezing, very little wind, and maybe some sun. We really deserve this a whole bunch.
