Good evening all!
Hope everyone was able to stay warm last week during the snow and sub-zero temperatures. It’ll be nice to be back to our usual Wednesday night routine. Please take note of the following for tomorrow’s rehearsal:
- A HUGE thank you to everyone involved with our superbowl squares fundraiser. If you purchased a square your money must be handed in to Tom Naber tomorrow evening. That includes friends that purchased squares as well. This way all of our winners can receive their payouts. Again thank you, thank you, because without you promoting the fundraiser and telling your friends and family we never would have been this successful!
- To keep with the fundraising spirit, we are still collecting cans/bottles to deposit, and are looking for a few more volunteers for the Sabres 50/50 game. See Lauren Bowen tomorrow if you have any questions!
- Linda has practice CDs available if you still need one. Thank you Linda for putting in the effort to help us practice more efficiently!
- Another reminder for practicing efficiently. Marcia’ markings are on the website. Please make sure you transfer these to your music only, the pdfs online cannot be printed for personal use.
Please remember that the ONLY DOOR open at Sweet Home High School tomorrow is the Main Entrance. The parking lot at the front of the school will be your best bet for parking (enter at the light across from the school NOT turning onto Skinnersville Rd). If you have any questions feel free to text or call, my cell number is 716-390-7059.
In the not so distant future, Rick Darisse has asked if anyone would be willing to speak to him about front of house duties. Rick is a man of many talents and dedicates so much to the chorus. He is hoping to train someone in one of his many duties, which is to run the house during concerts. This would entail keeping track of usher responsibilities and will call tickets. If you have been looking to get involved with the chorus, this could be the opportunity for you! See Gail or Rick if you have any questions.
That’s all folks! Stay warm and drive safe. Looking forward to seeing everyone again at the HIGH SCHOOL
Sincerely,
Beth Anne Jasen
