Tomorrow is Wednesday!

Hi, all

We reconvene tomorrow evening at 7:00 for a dress rehearsal for Sunday’s concert.  Here are the bits and pieces:

  1.  Please try to be prompt at 7:00.  Check in for attendance.
  2. There will be instrumentalists in the church with string instruments.  Please stay away from them at all times.
  3. Covid numbers are dropping each day now that people are outside more.  Positivity rate for May 30 was 13.6% and 7 day rate was 11.4%.  The county is waiting for the CDC update on Thursday of this week for a possible adjusted community level.  We will be wearing masks tomorrow night but perhaps we will be moved into the moderate (medium) zone for Friday night’s dress.  Stay tuned.  I will let you know.  If we are moved, people who wish to wear a mask for the rehearsal and concert are perfectly fine doing so (black mask) and those who don’t wish to wear one, may go without.  I do caution us, however.  At last week’s concert with the BPC and the Buffalo/Niagara Concert Band, the chorus was required to wear masks for the concert.  The band was not required to wear masks or filters on their horns.   The band had to cancel their performance yesterday Downtown because too many band members came down with Covid.
  4. Instrumentalists and Bob will not be required to wear a mask tomorrow or over the weekend, since they will not be singing or speaking.
  5. If you are not feeling well or have any symptoms of Covid, please stay home and Zoom the rehearsal.  Please let us know if you will not be attending or if you will be attending on Zoom.  If you test positive on Thursday or Friday, PLEASE notify us so that we can alert the singers surrounding you.
  6. If you have any concert attire questions at all, please direct them to me when you check in, otherwise, I am assuming that you are all set.  Black, black, black.  New members since Christmas are asked to bring in their attire for checking tomorrow night or a picture of you in your attire.
  7. Have a great day tomorrow and see you tomorrow night ready to put the icing on the cake.
