Hello all! Coming up with a musical word for Tuesdays was a lot more difficult than Musical Mondays. I almost titled this Tenor Tuesdays…(maybe that will be for next week!)
A few reminders for this week:
- Sell tickets!!!! Our concert is only a few short weeks away and you don’t want any family or friends to miss this one! See the ticket crew to purchase tickets.
- We are running very low on physical tickets. If you have any tickets on consignment please return them at tomorrow’s rehearsal. To put numbers in perspective we have about 250 tickets out on consignment, and less than 50 tickets that the ticket committee is able to sell. Since the Riv has a set number of seats, we cannot print more tickets. Therefore if you have not sold your consignment tickets yet please please return them!
- Know someone that has gone above and beyond to serve the chorus? Consider nominating them for the annual service award. Our chorus is made up of so many volunteers so please consider nominating someone for this honor. You can pick up a sheet to nominate someone at rehearsal. Please pay attention to who has already won the award as we want to honor someone that hasn’t received it yet!
- Think you want to become more involved with the chorus? Becoming a board member is a perfect way to do so! If you are considering running or want to nominate someone else, you can also pick up a form at rehearsal. If you want to know more about what each position entails you can ask the nominating committee or any current board member to see if this job would be right for you!
- If you have not done so yet, take some time to practice those tricky spots either with the practice CD or youtube links on the website. The recordings are so helpful and will really help during rehearsal so we can focus on musicality.
