Hi Everyone,
I apologize for going over our rehearsal time last night. I did not set an alarm, which I usually do, and I was not watching the clock. This made for a very long day and an early morning for many of our members. Please accept my apology.
On a positive note, I was delighted with last night’s dress rehearsal. The overall sound and musical presentation were excellent! The string quartet is amazing and the pipe organ is exuberant and beautiful. You should be proud of your efforts. It is going to be a wonderful concert. Please encourage people to attend.
Here are some reminders for Sunday;
- Please make sure you are watching me for cut-offs, entrances, and tempo changes.
- Remember ending consonants are placed on the downbeat of the next measure or the next beat within the measure. Several times consonants were placed too early.
- Beginning consonants in a measure are placed prior to the downbeat and the vowel is placed on the beat.
- Please no perfume or scented deodorant. Also, be aware that scented dryer sheets can be an irritant to some people.
- Please arrive by 1:45 pm, on risers at 2:00 pm, and finished by 2:20 pm. House doors open at 2:30 pm.
Thank you!
David
