Hi Everyone,
Tonight’s rehearsal is canceled due to the weather. Please stay home where you will be safe and secure.
Even though tonight’s rehearsal is canceled, we still need to prepare the material that would have been covered had rehearsal taken place. Please take two hours today, which would have been the amount of time spent in rehearsal, and perfect the parts that would have been covered. Please also prepare the material for next weeks rehearsal.
The rehearsal time for the next two weeks will be adjusted from 7-9 PM to 7-9:30 PM in order to make up for lost time.
It is important for the success of this choir that everyone properly prepares all the material prior to rehearsal. Our rehearsal time together is to reinforce the accuracy of pitches, shape phrases, and work on vocal technique. It is not to teach parts. If the choir has properly prepared, we should be able to sing through the prepared sections with minor errors, even on the first time through.
There is a lot of talent in this choir. Lets make it the best it can be!
