Rehearsal Plan and Seating Chart

Hi Everyone,

Rehearsals are moving along well. I am pleased with your preparation, and we are on track to have our music prepared in time for our concert.  Keep up the great work.  Here is a link to next week’s rehearsal plan.

I am also pleased with the choir’s overall sound, especially the men’s section. Last night, the men sounded great!  In a close second were the Alto’s and not too far behind were the Soprano’s.  Soprano can improve their sound by breathing through a lift and always heading into the head voice.  Everyone should keep this quote in mind to help improve the overall choir.

“Excellence is the result of purposeful intelligent effort.”  Every sound we make must be purposefully placed and shaped in it’s unique space depending on what the music asks of us.

I updated the seating chart.  Please check the chart to insure you have a seat, that your name is spelled correct, and that you have an initial for your last name.  Please email me with any errors at; davidmus6544@gmail.com.  Here is a link to the seating chart.

Thank you to everyone who auditioned for a solo.  Selection of soloists is a difficult task, especially when you have so many people to choose from.  I will be working on the solo selections over the next few days.  Please look for a separate post with the selections.

Thanks for all your hard work.  I hope you have been enjoying rehearsals.
