We are almost at the finish line for the Requiem Concert. There are two rehearsals and the dress left. Keep up the great work!
Please continue to review your music everyday, especially movements #4-5 of the Requiem.
This weeks rehearsal will be from 7-9:30 PM, starting with the women to do voice placement and continue when the men arrive at 7:15. Please check the attached rehearsal plan for additional information.
Ladies, the voice placement process is extremely important in the overall tone quality and color of our sound. I have put this process off, but we need to get this done. Every week our seats have changed, and if you noticed so did our sound. Properly placing the women will give us a consistent and more blended sound. Please don’t be uneasy with this process. It is a very simple process where I have small groups sing a simple phrase and move people accordingly. I rarely have individuals sing by themselves.
