Hi, all,
I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend of sun and fun! We are approaching the end of our season and lots of business needs to be wrapped up in a bow.
- Committees: Thank you so much to all of you who signed up last week. I will have the lists with me tomorrow night and I encourage anyone who wasn’t there to take a look and join us. The next two years promise to be so exciting and we need lots of help to make it all happen!
- Trip: Tomorrow is the due date for the non refundable deposits. Please see Rick Darisse and either pay him or chat with him about your plans. We cannot contract with a tour company if we don’t have a chorus to sing. It is super important that you let us know if you plan to go to Philadelphia with us so that Marcia can begin to look at the choral balance.
- Picnic: I have c.35 people signed up for the picnic for June 8th. Please see me at some point tomorrow night and sign up, even if you pay me next Sunday. I need to get meat orders done in advance. Checks made out to me or cash are both fine! I am sooooo hoping for sun!
- Cellino: Those of you who have been working hard to win this for us do know that HEART RESCUE won for the month of May. They have a huge following. It is important to know that we have been in the top 10 for two months in a row. Originally, I intended to wait until the fall to try again but I would like to take a hands up poll tomorrow night to see how many of you are willing to “stay in the fight” again the month of June (assuming that they do another competition). It appears to me that this is nothing but a win for us if we can just come out on top.
Thank you so much for helping out throughout the season! I think that if I looked back on the year, the vast majority of you have done something to help. The Volunteerism of this chorus is simply amazing. We are a family of worker bees and singers that all come together to get things done! Let’s knock socks off next Sunday!
