Muiscal Mondays-we’re in the hall of fame!

Hello to all and happy Monday! Here’s my first post as newly inducted music hall of fame members! Congrats to all for your hard work and dedication. A few notes for Wednesday as we continue to prepare for a stellar fall semester season!

  • Sell, sell, sell! (Tickets, that is!) Our Patriotic concert is only 13 days away! After our performance at the hall of fame, you don’t want your family and friends to miss this great selection of music. It is EXTREMELY important to see Tom or Jessie for tickets this week, as next week is our dress rehearsal and it will be hectic. Last year we sung to a sold out church, with standing room. I know we can have a full audience as we kick off our season!
  • Patron ads are well underway. Please bring your ads and money to Kevin or Nancy ASAP. This revenue is very important to be able to print our programs. Think about businesses you frequently visit and consider asking them to put an ad in our program. At worst, they could decline, and at best-they will have upwards of 2,000 people see their ad! We hope that everyone in the chorus can participate in the final weeks of the ad campaign.
  • Are you an alto? Every year the alto’s collect money to put an alto ad in the program. See Eileen K. to make a contribution.
  • Sabres 50/50 raffle is only a few short weeks away. See Sam Cook or Lauren Bowen to sign up (it’s a great FUNraiser! cheesiness aside, please consider joining us for this important fundraiser. And bring friends!)
  • If you’re still alive in the survivor pool see Sam or Lauren to pick your team for the week!
  • Please be aware that this week’s rehearsal is at Sweet Home High School. The next two weeks rehearsals are on a TUESDAY. Next Tuesday 10/23 we are at St. Joe’s church on Main Street, and the following Tuesday 10/30 we are back at Sweet Home High School.
  • a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that helped pull off our performance at the induction ceremony. Also a special shout out to the set up and take down crew, your efforts are so appreciated. If you also want to be apart of the prestigious crew, see Andrea. It’s not too late to sign up for our St. Joe’s concert!

Have a great start to the week! See everyone with Christmas and Patriotic music marked and ready to go!

Best,

Beth Anne Jasen
