Here are some further details regarding John:
1) there will be envelopes available both at the funeral home and the church if anyone wishes to make a contribution in John’s memory. The family is considering a lasting memorial to John, perhaps a park bench at his favorite hiking spot, as well as using donations as they desire.
2) John’s church is a smaller church. The choir area (accessible by stairs) holds only 50. West Seneca West chorus will sing one piece. We will sing “Omnia Sol” toward the end. If you are interested in attending the service and singing:

-warm up will be in an upstairs choir room (stairs again) at 10:00 AM
-park in the far back Town Park parking lot. DO NOT park near the church. They need all the space they have for the many family, parishioners and friends who will be attending
-the church is hosting a small luncheon after the service for Family, Parishioners and Friends. Please do not plan on attending this. Perhaps our singers may want to gather
in small groups at area restaurants to remember John, but, please, let’s leave the luncheon for their church and John’s family.
