FLASH MOB UPDATE/PLAN CHANGE: Please read, even if you cannot do the flash mob.
Alright, guys. Here’s the deal: we just didn’t get enough people signed up to do a flash mob to the quality that we would want it to be. But we still have a half-hour spot reserved at the Infringement Fest from 4:00-4:30. So here’s the NEW PLAN! In that time, we will be hosting an open-mic of sorts. Do you have an old aria tucked in your back pocket, just itching to be sung again? Do you have something a little more Broadway that just wasn’t the right fit for the Riv? Come on down! Bring that music!
There is one major caveat: we are working on getting a mic, but as of now you have to bring a recording of your accompaniment or sing a cappella. Lots and lots of piano parts can be found on youtube, guys. We will bring some sort of CD player, but if you’d like to bring, say, a bluetooth speaker & use that, you probably could do that as well.
Because I am a teacher y’all know I am always about collecting as much data as I can, which means: if you’re interested in singing a little something, please fill out the google form here, so we know what you’ll be performing!
