- We have until Wednesday, June 12th to vote for us for the June contest! Try to get friends and family to vote daily too!
- Picnic: Try to bring lawn chairs so that you will be comfortable outside. Dress in layers. It is colder at the water’s edge. If you are going to hike down to the beach, wear appropriate shoes. The pool is heated and open. I can’t have an army in the pool unless one of you has a lifeguard certification but a few can go in at a time as my guest. GPS address would be 6462 Old Lakeshore Rd, Derby. Come into the entrance to the Bluff’s and follow the signs to the Manor House. Try to park tight enough for us to get our cars into the lot. Bring money if you have not paid yet. Lawn games, cards, etc. will add to the fun. All water, pop, and tea is in the fridge in the hallway. Cups are on the bar area, There are plenty of bathrooms in the house. Just ask me if you need to be headed off into the right area to find one. If you are bringing children, you will need to keep them at your side if you sit on the lake side. People can also sit around the pool. If you don’t bring a suit, you can certainly put your feet into the water. See you tomorrow. I am super flexible so if you have someone that would like to come or if you are a chorus member who has decided to come……COME. There will be plenty of food and it is going to be a beautiful day and a beautiful sunset!
- If you have forgotten your trip money for your deposit, bring it tomorrow. Rick and I can take it and add you to the list. Our first bus is almost full already.
