Hello all! Welcome to week two of BCAS at Sweet Home Middle School. In order to make the most of our rehearsal time, please make note of the following announcements.
- Dues are being collected; they are $75. Can be paid on the website using a credit card, or in person with cash, check, or card at next week’s rehearsal.
- Tickets are for sale on the website and can be purchased at any time! For our audience members who attend more than one concert, the season tickets are a really great deal. Both individual tickets and season tickets can be purchased on the website.
- CDs: Linda will have a few practice CDs available at Wednesday’s rehearsal. If you have used the practice CDs in the past, please bring them back so she can continue making them. If you would prefer to have the music on a flash drive Linda is happy to do that, just bring a flash drive to her with your name on it.
- Thank you! A huge thank you to everyone who helped at the music library that got our October and Christmas music ready. If you see one of these people (or you are one of these people) be sure to tell them thanks! Rick Lesniak, Linda Lang, Carl Eisenhard, June Martin, Rick and Sharon Darisse.
- Future fundraiser: To help raise money, BCAS participates in a fundraiser at a Sabres game selling 50/50 tickets. It is always so much fun and our chorus is somehow very good at selling tickets. We need at least 20 volunteers over the age of 18 to participate. They do not need to be chorus members. The dates for the games are November 12th, puck drop at 7 we get there at 5, and March 4th with a puck drop at 12:30 and arrival at 10:30. If you are interested see Tom Naber.
- This weekend on September 17th, there will be a celebration of life service for Sue Dosch’s dad. He passed away last year but due to covid the family is celebrating this weekend. If you are interested in attending, please talk to Sue Dosch for details.
