Think fun!!! The Fall Picnic is Saturday, September 22nd. It is at “The Bluff’s” in Derby, which is right next to Greycliff. You can enter Greycliff or 6462 Old Lakeshore Road into your GPS..
- The time will be 2:00 –10:00. Dinner will be around 5:30.
- Cost is $12.00 per person plus your favorite appetizer, side dish, or dessert to share.
- Newcomers are our guests at no cost. Please bring something to share.
- Children will need to be monitored at all times due to the “Bluff”.to the lake.
- Hot dogs, hamburgers, Italian sausage, rolls, condiments, chips, water, pop, coffee, tea, and paper products will all be provided.
- BYOB responsibly.
- Sunshine–bring a lawn game if you have one and dress in layers
- Rain–bring cards or a board game if you wish.
- It can get chilly at night (or day) in September so dress with choices in mind and if you plan to hike to the beach, wear comfortable footwear.
- There are 4 bedrooms upstairs with shared bathrooms. If you would like to stay over, the cost is $25 per room. Let me know if you want to stay “at the lake” over night.
- There is a kayak launch at 18 mile creek and you are welcome to bring yours and enjoy if the weather is nice. See me for particulars.
- I will need help with the following: ice and beverage monitor, serving set up at c. 5:00, and clean up at the end of the evening. Please let Tina Reece know if you can do any of those tasks.
- The limit out here is 75 so please hurry and sign up this Wednesday night. We have a huge chorus this fall and I would hate to cut anyone out but the top number is firm. I will be at the tables. Cash or a check made out to GAIL LEARY would be great. Newcomers will need to sign up, as well, at no cost.
