Hello all! I’m amazed to find myself at the start of the week and almost into February! It’s crazy how fast time is flying which means our March concerts are only SIX short weeks away! A few notes to reconnect ourselves before Wednesday:
-Our concert will sneak up on us and we all know how unpredictable Buffalo weather can be. See the ticket crew to purchase tickets to one of our performances! Also try and convince some of those “Riv only” folks (you know the ones that ask for Riv tickets a year in advance) to attend a concert with a different literature while getting a sneak peak of our Riv concert.
-Haven’t signed up for a 50/50 game yet? Check your calendars and see Tom if you would like to volunteer. It’s a FUNraiser that’s a great evening spent with BCAS friends. Or bring your own friends! Anyone is welcome as long as they are over 18.
-New members in need of the shirt/skirt attire, see Sue Dosch if you haven’t paid for your concert attire yet. She wants to place the order asap so all of your concert gear will get here in plenty of time before March.
-some of you have already emailed me with changes to your personal info for the roster. Thank you! If you have had a change in address/phone number/email since last semester, or the last time you sang with us, please let me know.
-As always, if you know you are going to be absent please let Marcia, myself, and Paula Belair (Sharon Darisse beginning in February) know as soon as possible. It really helps get the rehearsal space ready, especially when we have so few weeks to rehearse and polish our music.
-Finally, if you would like to help out with fundraisers in the future talk to Kim Guido about joining a committee, and if you want to help out for our March concerts by getting in touch with the churches (or are in the Orchard Park area) see Linda Lang.
