Hello Everyone,
We have learned that Sweet Home HS will have its open house tonight from 5:30 – 7:30. It’s outside, so it does not impact our ability to use the space in the band room, but it WILL impact parking. If you are able to arrange any kind of carpooling, that would be helpful as I’m sure parking will be more difficult to find than usual. Your best bet is still the lot we normally use as shown in the picture below. You may also want to plan to be there a little earlier than normal if possible in order to allow time for finding a parking spot.
Also, when I checked with Alec last night, nobody had reached out to him to let him know they would help with setup. This is an extremely important job and the people who have been doing it for years are unable to continue, so we need to make sure it gets taken care of. Setup starts at 6pm. If you can help but can’t get there until a little later than 6, that’s still helpful! If you are planning on showing up early to set up, please email Alec at alect.michalski@gmail.com so he knows how many people to expect. We cannot rehearse if we don’t have our room set up so please help if you can!
