Good afternoon all!
While there is talk of snow coming, hopefully it holds off tomorrow night so we are able to rehearse. As Marcia stated in an earlier blog though, if conditions are bad where you are please join us on Zoom if that feels safer for you. The zoom link is always posted on the blog and does not change. So if you’ve logged into the zoom before you will use the same link! That being said, here are announcements for Wednesday’s rehearsal
- Sell tickets!!!! We only have a little over two weeks before our first Christmas concert. As Tom mentioned last week our goal is to sell 800 tickets and we were just shy of 25% of our goal. Please please, if everyone sold just two tickets this week, we would be in a much better spot. If you have a Thanksgiving gathering mention our concert, I’m sure your family and friends would love to attend.
- Alec is starting to look for volunteers for crew to set up at the churches before the dress rehearsal, Friday concert, and Sunday concert. If you are able to help with this please consider volunteering for one of the days.
- Football squares are being sold at rehearsal up until next Tuesday or the entire board is filled, whatever happens first! As much as we love cheering on our Bills, why not add a little extra fun to the Thanksgiving day game. Each square is $10.
- 50/50 raffle and water bottle sales will continue at each rehearsal. See Nadine if interested.
- Sarah Fiegel is always looking for volunteers to help out with social media posts, see her at the break if you would like to be involved.
- Ray is collecting dues from anyone who hasn’t paid yet. Please talk to him before or after rehearsal to touch base.
- A HUGE thank you to all our members, friends and family members who volunteered at the Sabres 50/50 game on Saturday. We had a sold out crowd and ended up selling 53,000 in raffle tickets to benefit Roswell Park. Thank you thank you to everyone who came to help out with this great event. We have another game in March and we hope to have the same and new people join us. Ask anyone who was there Saturday, we had so much fun!
Stay warm, sell tickets, and see everyone on Wednesday!
