Hi Everyone:
Shandra has just added an updated listing of dates for the 2018-2019 Season under the “Files You May Need” heading. It doesn’t have the actual rehearsal sites yet as Sweet Home High School takes a while to establish their calendar. We’ll get those listed as soon as we can.
Of special note is the addition of Thursday evening, October 11, 2018 for the 36th Annual Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Gala Induction Ceremony. This is held at The Cardinal O’Hara Performing Arts Center, 39 O’Hara Road, Tonawanda, NY 14150. It starts with a Cocktail Hour at 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The actual Induction Ceremony runs from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM. This will be a very exciting evening for us. In addition to receiving an award, we will also have an opportunity to perform a few times that evening, along with the other recipients. More details will follow in the very near future as to the actual logistics for the evening and the necessary things each of us will need to do very soon.
The induction into the Hall of Fame is such a tremenous honor for our group and each individual member, past and present. Hopefully you’ve already begun to “blow your trumpet” to your friends and family. They, too, will have an opportunity to join us that night to celebrate, (again, more to come).
Don’t forget about our auditions for the upcoming season. Now that we’re in the forefront of public attention we need to “ride that wave”. If you know of any singer looking for a group, send them to our webpage to sign up for an audition spot.
