Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your productive rehearsal last night and hard work learning your parts. At this point, you should be able to sing all pieces with the rehearsal tracks and reference recordings without errors. Keep up your individual practice between now and the concerts so we can be at our best.
I was impressed with the number of people who auditioned last night for the solos. The decisions were difficult, as there were many talented singers to choose from. Congratulations to our soloists:
December Song – Jenna Montesanti
Let The Stable Still Astonish – Kamra Phillips
Mary, Did You Know? – Jeff Mitton
Rehearsal next week is on Tuesday, 11/21/23 at Sweet Home HS. It is important that everyone arrives by 6:50 to take your seats and to begin at 7 PM. We have a lot to accomplish. I thought it would be best to have the string quartet with us as we work through our run throughs and final preparations of tone, phrasing, and interpretations. This way, everyone with be on the same page. With that said, our string quartet will be with us next week, but they will not arrive until 7:30. So, we have a short period of time to work on the pieces that do not have instrumentalists. Please take a close look at the rehearsal plan.

We are almost at the finish line for our Christmas concert. You will be wonderful.
Thank you for your patience as I learn the most efficient and effective methods to prepare the choir for our concerts. I look forward to next week.
Thanks
David
